Deadflow is a zombie defense game where you never give your soldiers an order. A horde of 40,000 zombies floods a modern town, and your weapon is the town itself. Before nightfall you spend 100 points on rifle squads, barricades, stake fields and noise bells, and you aim antennas that push the horde away during random power spikes. Then you press “Let them come!” and watch the battle play out on its own. The zombies move as one huge tide, so every wall you build changes where they go. They pile up against walls and climb over them. Rooftop squads get a clear shot but have nowhere to run.

We’re looking for playtesters to tell us whether planning a defense and then watching it hold or collapse is fun, and whether it makes you want to try “just one more” layout. Each night is short, and Retry replays the same night so you can improve your plan.

How to play: play in your browser with a mouse. Press Q to place squads, E for barricades, R for stakes and T for bells. Drag from an antenna to aim it, and right-click to remove anything. When you’re ready, press Enter to start. During the battle you only control the camera and the speed (1/2/3, Space to pause). You win if the square holds until dawn.

IMPORTANT: If you want to help us with the development, you can playtest your play by recording your screen with this tool: https://app.playcocola.com/i/a8b192cd-bb9c-4054-a1e4-a8e001a66e20 (no login required)
